We’re hiring – Junior CAD Technician (Landscape & Outdoor Design)
Consilium Hortus | Essex (with hybrid working available)
We’re looking for a detail-focused, design-minded Junior CAD Technician to join our growing studio and help us deliver high-end residential outdoor spaces across the UK and abroad.
This is an entry-level role, ideal for a college leaver or early-career designer with a background in landscape architecture, garden design, or built environment — someone who wants to get hands-on with real projects and grow in a creative, ambitious team.
The Role Includes:
• Producing 2D and technical drawings in Vectorworks
• Helping create build packs, planting plans, and presentation drawings
• Developing and maintaining our growing CAD library and drawing systems
• Working directly alongside the founder and lead designer
What We’re Looking For:
• A qualification (or nearly completed) in a related design discipline
• Familiarity with Vectorworks, AutoCAD or similar
• A sharp eye for layout and detail
• A real interest in outdoor spaces, construction, and design
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
