Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (39 hours per week)
Driving Requirement: Full UK Driving Licence required
About The Opportunity
Leader Recruitment Group is delighted to collaborate with an established provider of innovative care and education services to recruit a Senior Support Worker for a children's residential home in Buxton. This role offers the chance to join a supportive team dedicated to delivering outstanding care to young people with EBD, helping them lead happy and fulfilling lives. Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support, fostering recovery, growth, and lasting change for young people.
* Lead and mentor a team of support workers, acting as a positive role model to ensure exceptional care standards.
* Meet the daily living needs of children, creating a safe and nurturing home environment.
* Build trusting relationships with young people and colleagues to make a meaningful impact.
* Support the Registered Manager in delivering therapeutic, tailored care for each child.
* Contribute to a positive team culture, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive.
About You
* Essential:
o Minimum of 12 months' experience in the care sector, ideally in a children's residential setting.
o Naturally caring, flexible, and resilient with a passion for supporting young people.
o Full UK Driving Licence.
o Ability to work flexible shifts, including sleep-ins.
o Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards).
o Previous experience in a senior or supervisory role within a children's home.
