A well-established manufacturing business is looking to bring in a Technical Customer Service Administrator to support a busy and fast-paced operation. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative team where you will play a key role in keeping customer orders moving smoothly from start to finish. Based in Sherburn, this role is easily commutable from Scarborough, Malton and surrounding areas. Key responsibilities: Process and manage customer orders using SAP, ensuring all orders are acknowledged within 24 hours Act as a key point of contact for customers, providing regular updates and managing order queries Handle requests to expedite or delay orders, working closely with production and planning teams Raise and manage customer complaints, working with internal teams to achieve timely resolutions Process credit and debit notes, liaising with Finance to resolve any account queries Coordinate with Transport to obtain delivery updates and arrange expedited shipments where needed Release orders to Planning and Production, supporting efficient scheduling and delivery Collaborate with internal departments to balance customer needs with production capacity Manage multiple projects and deadlines, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail at all times Maintain strong communication across teams, contributing to a collaborative working environment Ensure compliance with company standards, ISO regulations and internal policies About you: Strong administrative skills with the ability to use systems confidently, SAP experience would be ideal but not essential if you can pick systems up quickly High attention to detail with strong technical capability, comfortable handling a high volume of processing Ambitious and keen to develop, whether within customer service or the wider business, with a clear progression route available for those who want it Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, sometimes high-pressure environment Working hours and salary: This is a full-time position working 38 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8:15am – 4:40pm and Friday 8:15am – 3:55pm, with an unpaid 40-minute lunch break. The salary is £27,800, with potential for an increase within your first 12 months.
