Early Years Practitioner (Level 3)
Academics in Canterbury are currently recruiting for a Level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioner to join a friendly, supportive, and well-established nursery team within a welcoming early years setting in Canterbury.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about working with children aged birth to five who thrives in a nurturing and busy nursery environment and enjoys making a real difference each day as an Early Years Practitioner in Canterbury.
The Role
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will:
* Provide high-quality care and early education in line with the EYFS framework
* Create a stimulating, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
* Observe, plan, and assess children's development using Development Matters (2023)
* Contribute to summative assessments and developmental reports
* Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues within a supportive setting in Canterbury
About You
To be successful in this role, you will:
* Hold a recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification
* Have recent experience working within a nursery or similar early years setting
* Demonstrate strong knowledge of the EYFS and child development
* Be confident completing observations and supporting learning outcomes
* Be proactive, caring, and a strong team player
