Contract Type: Full-time, Term-time only
A friendly and inclusive primary school in the L30 area is seeking a dedicated Year 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support learning and development in a busy Year 3 classroom, helping pupils to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and classroom activities
* Work with individuals or small groups to boost learning and understanding
* Assist with classroom management and behaviour support
* Help prepare resources and maintain a positive learning environment
* Monitor and support pupil progress, providing feedback to the teacher
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Have previous experience working in a primary school, preferably in KS2
* Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or 3 preferred)
* Be patient, reliable, and enthusiastic
* Have strong communication and teamwork skills
* Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply)
