About Us
Mitchell & Stones act as an outsourced marketing department for organisations across the UK and in Europe. Our clients trust us to consult and strategise on all areas of their marketing strategy and using our resources we execute those activities to help our clients reach their goals and objectives.
We are not your standard digital agency. We are changing the way companies deal with external marketing agencies. We offer a one-stop solution to companies who have struggled to establish a performing marketing function within their business. This means we get to flex our creative muscles more often, using our know-how to guide our client's marketing strategy and our internal resources to achieve their goals.
Our Culture
Here at Mitchell & Stones, you will find a team that is highly supportive in all areas of our endeavours. We believe that collaboration and a desire to do and be better is ingrained within our DNA. All challenges are opportunities and if it’s always been done that way then we should absolutely be asking ourselves ‘is there a better way?
The Ideal Candidate
We are not just looking for someone with great marketing knowledge, ideally with 2-3 years of either in-house or agency marketing experience. We are looking for someone who has a true passion for marketing and is willing to break away from the digital marketing norms. Someone who loves building and growing relationships with the clients they work with and understands their vision.
At an individual level, the right candidate would be self-driven, ambitious, highly organised and have a desire to constantly up-skill and seek new knowledge and education within a sector that is constantly evolving.
How We Work
We operate a hybrid working model upon passing an initial probationary period of 6 months. This means you can split your place of work with two days in the office and three days remotely, depending on your preference.
The Role
As a Digital Marketing Executive, you will work collaboratively with our Digital Marketing Managers to drive success for our clients' organisations. Your role will encompass developing strategic content plans, supporting lead generation campaigns, and coordinating with our internal design team to ensure the timely deployment of high-quality content in line with client schedules.
You will be responsible for nurturing and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact to manage expectations and ensure satisfaction. Through the use of both our internal resources and our network of trusted partners, you will oversee the delivery of a wide range of marketing activities, including paid advertising campaigns, landing page creation, email marketing initiatives, and much more.
Additionally, you will manage a small team of one to two direct reports, supporting and guiding them to assist you with service delivery and ensuring a high standard of output across all client projects.
This role requires someone who is exceptionally organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously. You will need strong time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
You will manage creative projects from initial brief through to final delivery, working closely with our in-house designers and outsourced resources to achieve successful outcomes. Supporting our PPC experts and Digital Marketing Managers, you will assist in the development, execution and optimisation of paid advertising campaigns.
Your role will also involve gathering key metrics, analysing marketing campaign results, and making evidence-based recommendations to inform future strategies. You will be responsible for managing the receipt and delivery of client content, ensuring that all deadlines are met efficiently.
In addition, you will build and deploy email marketing campaigns that align with each client’s goals and objectives, conduct trend and sector research to keep campaigns fresh and relevant, and produce engaging copywriting for various marketing collateral. Collaboration with our in-house creative team will be crucial in delivering compelling assets that resonate with target audiences.
This is a varied and hands-on role, ideal for a creative, highly organised, and proactive marketing professional who thrives on collaboration, client communication, team leadership, and seeing measurable results.
