Active animal lover requires support with daily life Preferred days/times: 4 hours every other week on a Saturday, increasing to 5 hours per week including possible additional hours every Friday evening (8.30pm-11.30pm) once a relationship is established Tasks/duties: Personal care Community activities Domestic tasks Support with the client’s interests and aspirations including maintaining and forming sustainable peer relationships. Client main diagnosis: Learning Difficulties No vision in left eye Limited appetite so requires encouragement to eat Some speech and language difficulties Epilepsy – has effective medication and has not had a seizure since 2023 Communication: Client can verbalise their needs and wishes. They may struggle with understanding complex issues and arguments and so may need support to make informed decisions. Client enjoys: Client enjoys being outside with the family including visiting the local reservoir with their dad for fishing. Likes their dogs Swimming Snooker and pool Playing videos games Attending an archery club with their dad; the club has specialist provision to meet his needs.
