In this role, you will use your expertise in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and offshore standards to ensure that existing Oil & Gas offshore structures remain safe, compliant, and fit for tomorrow’s challenges. Senior Structural Integrity Engineer with SESAM & SACS Software Experience What you can expect / Key Responsibilities Lead advanced F inite Element Analysis (FEA) of offshore support structures with focus on reassessment, integrity verification, and life extension. Use FEA as the backbone for digital twin models, enabling, predictive maintenance, and data-driven decision-making. Develop, update, and calibrate Finite Element Models (FEM), including model updating from field measurements and monitoring data. Evaluate structural capacity under new operational demands, modifications, or extended service life. Ensure compliance with governing standards ( ISO, DNV, NORSOK, or similar ) and provide clear, actionable recommendations. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, participating in reviews, audits, and technical discussions. Act as a mentor and technical lead for junior engineers, building competence in structural integrity within the team. Contribute to innovation by applying your expertise to emerging areas such as repurposing of existing assets and offshore renewables. Essential Skills Master’s degree in Structural / Offshore Engineering (or equivalent). 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas offshore structural engineering, with strong focus on reassessment and integrity management of existing structures. Expert user of SACS Software (Bentley) Offshore Structure Ultimate, Pile Structure Design, Fatigue Ultimate, Collapse AND Sesam Software (DNV) Jacket Fatigue Package and Extract. Deep understanding of offshore codes and standards (ISO, DNV, NORSOK, etc.). Proven track record in Finite Element Model updating based on measurement or monitoring data. Strong communicator in English, both written and spoken. Recognized team player with mentoring and leadership experience. Desirable Skills Exposure to offshore wind or renewable structures reassessment is a plus. Knowledge of ANSYS/ABAQUS is an advantage. Professional certification (e.g., Chartered Engineer ) is an advantage.
