We're looking for General Operative to join our Severn Trent based in Worcester.
Location: Worcester
Hours: 45 hours per week

What will you be responsible for?
As a General Operative, you'll be working within the Severn Trent contract supporting them in the safe and efficient delivery of water and wastewater
construction projects. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary site team, the role combines hands-on operational duties with responsibility for managing the safe movement of vehicles, plant, and pedestrians.
Your day to day will include:
* Directing and controlling the safe movement of vehicles, plant, and pedestrians within site boundaries, maintaining clear access and egress routes.
* Carrying out general site duties including excavation, pipe laying, concreting, reinstatement, and materials handling in line with project specifications.
* Supporting site supervisors and engineers in delivering works safely, efficiently, and to programme requirements.
* Conducting daily checks of barriers, signage, and traffic management systems to ensure ongoing site safety and compliance.
* Maintaining a clean, organised, and hazard-free work area, promoting good housekeeping standards at all times.
* Following all health, safety, and environmental procedures, reporting hazards, near misses, or unsafe conditions promptly.

* Hold a CSCS Card & Traffic Marshall/Banksman Ticket
* Hold a Full driving license
