Role Overview
You will be a registered Mental Health Nurse on Part 3 of the NMC Register, working as a Community Psychiatric Nurse providing assessment, care, support and treatment interventions to patients and carers with dementia of any age and people with functional mental health problems over 65 years of age living in Moray.
Responsibilities
* Provide assessment, care, and treatment interventions for patients and carers with dementia and functional mental health problems.
* Manage your workload on a day‑to‑day basis.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, problem solve and support continuous professional development and change management.
* Work independently, demonstrate organisational skills and take initiative.
* Partner with a range of stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
* Registered Mental Health Nurse on Part 3 of the NMC Register.
* Degree level education or relevant postgraduate qualification.
* Experience caring for older people with mental health problems.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Sound organisational skills and ability to work on own initiative.
Additional Requirements
* A car driver / access to a car is essential.

Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 28 hours a week.
