Mechanical Engineer - Prestigious Contract in London - Up to £45,000 + Company Van
Exciting role to join a leading national maintenance service provider expanding its operations by hiring a specialized mechanical engineer for a high-end mixed-use commercial contract in and around Bond Street, Mayfair, and Belgravia.
You will be part of the current maintenance team, working across various high-end buildings, performing service and breakdown tasks on mechanical plant. Responsibilities include all aspects of commercial mechanical maintenance and general building services.
Hours of Work: Monday - Friday, 08:00 am - 5:00 pm.

Requirements:
* NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing & Heating (minimum)
* NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing & Heating (desirable)
* Experience in maintenance or facilities management
* Knowledge of health & safety, permit to work procedures, and safe systems of work
* Ability to perform manual tasks, including manual handling, working at heights, and in confined spaces
* Good verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency with mobile devices
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Full driver's license
Responsibilities:
* Monitor mechanical plant such as pumps, motors, seals, and bearings
* Maintain air conditioning units, including air handling units and fan coil units
* Perform water treatment checks
* Maintain general building fabric
* Escort specialist subcontractors
* Undertake repairs to HVAC plant and associated systems
* Install, alter, and repair pipework systems as needed
* Report faults and service issues proactively
* Ensure health & safety compliance and report issues
* Communicate effectively with client staff and site management
* Remain flexible regarding site attendance and tasks within personal competency
* Stay informed about relevant health and safety and legislative matters
