Your role and responsibilities
Our Client and Pet Care Advisors are the face of the business and first port-of-call for our clients, so 'friendly professionalism' is essential. This role is required to cover holiday and sickness at all 5 branches as per the needs of the reception teams. This offers great opportunity to see how many aspects of the business work and aids progression routes.
Responsibilities include:
* Promptly responding to calls and emails
* General veterinary administration, including appointments and insurance
* Payment handling, debt chasing, and end-of-day banking
* Guiding pet owners through their sometimes complicated and emotionally challenging pet journeys
* Competent medication handling and dispensing
* General housekeeping and practice maintenance
* Cover across all 5 of our sites
Requirements:
* Positive, proactive attitude
* Computer literacy
* Flexibility in location and shift pattern (short notice changes may be necessary)
Experience:
* Veterinary industry experience is not crucial, but helpful
* Customer-facing experience is also beneficial
Salary and package:
* £19,234.80 per annum
* Permanent
* 30 hours weekly. Mixture of shifts between 8am and 8pm Monday to Friday as per the holiday and sickness needs of the reception team, plus 1 weekend shift per month and 1 bank holiday shift per year.
