Tutor Opportunities – Andover
Full-Time & Part-Time Positions Available
We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Tutors to support learners across Andover. Referrals are available for learners from Early Years to 18+, with both full-time and part-time opportunities to suit your availability.
This role is ideal for tutors who are passionate about delivering personalised education and making a meaningful difference through 1:1 support.
About the Role
As a Tutor, you will:
1. Provide 1:1 tuition in core subjects (English, Maths, Science) and/or Functional Skills
2. Deliver engaging, personalised learning sessions tailored to individual needs
3. Support learners with a range of abilities, needs, and learning styles
4. Monitor progress and adapt teaching approaches where required
5. Work in homes, schools, or community settings, depending on each placement
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
6. A minimum of 6 months’ experience working in UK schools
7. Strong subject knowledge in English, Maths and/or Science
8. Experience in tutoring or teaching (schools, intervention work, tuition centres, or mentoring)
9. The ability to build positive and supportive relationships with learners
10. A reliable, organised, and confident approach to working independently
11. A current enhanced DBS, or willingness to obtain one
