Role Overview:
Reporting directly to one of our People and Culture Business Partners, the HR Admin Assistant will be instrumental in supporting the team's objectives. If you have a passion for HR administration and a track record of providing exceptional support to busy teams, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
1. Managing and prioritising the HR inbox, acting as the primary point of contact for colleague inquiries, including handling non-complex employee relations queries from managers.
2. Taking ownership of non-complex employee relations matters and providing timely resolutions.
3. Drafting professional correspondence for colleagues.
4. Maintaining accurate digital and electronic records of colleagues within our HRIS.
5. Generating insightful HR management information reports on a weekly and ad-hoc basis.
6. Assisting in the preparation of employment contracts and contract variation letters.
7. Overseeing family leave procedures, including maternity and paternity leave.
8. Recording concise and accurate meeting minutes.
9. Supporting the People Team with appraisal and pay review administration.
10. Assisting in referrals to Occupational Health services.
11. Addressing payroll inquiries and facilitating payroll processing as needed.
12. Conducting comprehensive exit interviews to gather valuable feedback.
13. Managing the internal benefits platform to enhance employee experience.
14. Staying up-to-date with Employment Legislation and Best Practices to ensure compliance.
The Ideal Candidate:
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving abilities, capable of identifying and resolving issues promptly.
Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and plan work activities efficiently.
Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Proficient in computer usage and comfortable utilising HR systems and tools.
Detail-oriented, with a knack for using data and insights to support team objectives.
Ideally holds or is working towards a Level 5 CIPD qualification.
