Job Title: Support Worker for Children
Location: Merthyr Tydfil and Surrounding Areas, UK

We are currently seeking dedicated Support Workers to join our team in Merthyr Tydfil and surrounding areas.
As a Support Worker for Children, you will play a vital role in providing care, support, and guidance to children in care, helping them thrive and achieve their full potential The Children we support have a range of complex requirements including but not limited to Challenging behaviour, mental health conditions, Childhood trauma CSE and Complex family circumstances.
Responsibilities as a Support Worker :

1. Providing emotional and practical support to children and young people in a variety of settings.
2. Assisting with daily activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and educational support.
3. Building positive relationships with children, families, and professionals involved in their care.
4. Implementing care plans and strategies tailored to the individual needs of each child.
5. Advocating for the rights and welfare of children, ensuring their voices are heard and respected.
Requirements for Support Worker :
6. Minimum of 1 year experience as a Support Worker or Care Assistant in the UK.
7. Enhanced DBS check on the update service.
8. Full UK driver's license with access to a vehicle.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and young people.
10. Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable children.
11. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
