Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical repair and maintenance, with the ability to diagnose issues and perform repairs on various types of machinery and vehicles. Responsibilities
* Conduct thorough inspections of machinery and vehicles to identify faults or issues.
* Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake inspections, and tyre rotations.
* Diagnose mechanical problems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
* Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems as needed.
* Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during all work activities.
* Collaborate with other team members to improve processes and efficiency within the workshop.
* Stay informed about new technologies and techniques in the field of mechanics.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and equipment.
* Ability to read technical manuals and schematics effectively.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
* Good communication skills to work collaboratively within a team environment.
* Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive or mechanical engineering are advantageous but not essential.
