Cameron Laird Architects are seeking a talented, enthusiastic and ambitious Architect with 2-5 years experience to join the practice within its office in Edinburgh City Centre. An experienced Part 2 Architectural Assistant would also be considered with relevant experience.
CLA are a small Commercial Architectural Practice operating throughout Scotland from its office in Edinburgh City Centre. Our projects range across a variety of sectors and scales and cover refurbishments & alterations of existing commercial buildings to new build developments and masterplanning. Key sectors we're currently actively involved in include Retail; Industrial & Manufacturing; Office& Workplace, Residential and Mixed Use Masterplanning.
Candidates should have excellent graphic, presentation and communication skills alongside good technical knowledge and understanding. Previous experience in UK based practice is essential, alongside a good working knowledge of the Scottish Planning process and Scottish Building Regulations.
Candidates should have a proven track record in the design and delivery of projects with job running experience across all work stages.
Applicants should be experienced in Autocad, Photoshop and experience of Sketchup or other 3D modelling software would be beneficial.
We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience. Salary expectations will be discussed at interview.
