Location: Remote (with occasional travel to Letchworth, UK)

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum depending on experience and skills.
Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to ensure the performance, availability, security, and integrity of mission-critical Oracle database environments for our client. This role combines proactive maintenance, incident resolution, and strategic improvements across on-premise and cloud platforms.
You'll work primarily remotely, joining a collaborative technical team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Administer, configure, and maintain Oracle databases to ensure high availability and performance.
2. Monitor database health and performance, identifying bottlenecks and tuning systems effectively.
3. Perform backup, recovery, patching, and upgrade operations, including disaster recovery planning.
4. Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and support teams to deploy schema changes and enhancements.
