We are seeking an experienced operations professional in the freight forwarding or UK transport sector to join a leading international logistics provider as UK & European Operations Co-ordinator.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage daily bookings for UK & European road transport services
* Coordinate warehouse operations including goods in/out and stock management
* Handle customs clearance processes (import and export)
* Operate a forklift (training provided if needed)
* Provide quotations and manage customer communications
* Liaise with transport suppliers for bookings and rate negotiations
* Collaborate with the sales team on service proposals
* Process and invoice jobs using Fast Freight software
* Attend team meetings to discuss operations, challenges, and performance metrics
What we\'re looking for
* Proven experience in European freight forwarding or UK transport operations (essential)
* Prior warehouse experience and a forklift licence (or willingness to train)
* Strong background in customer service and/or rate negotiation
* Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
* Ability to problem-solve and manage workloads under pressure
