Join Anglian Water's Strategic Pipeline Alliance as a Mechanical Site Supervisor. Location: Site based at local SPA offices. Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about contributing to one of the UK’s most ambitious water infrastructure projects? The Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) is searching for a Mechanical Site Supervisor to support and enhance our project delivery team. What will you be doing as our new Mechanical Site Supervisor ? You will be involved in the input and site supervision of projects from inception to completion. This is a site-based role requiring regular communication between other members of the delivery team based in the local office. You will work closely with the Site Manager and Site Supervisor (Electrical) and will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the delivery teams and sub-contractors on site. The role will require the effective communication tasks to the direct labour teams where available as well as predominately sub-contractors to meet delivery programmes. You will be expected to carry out the implementation and monitoring of health, safety, quality, environmental and performance standards and ensuring all work meets required water industry regulations and AW approved standards. Key responsibilities: Implement SPA policies, procedures and statutory legal regulations paying specific attention to HSE legislation. Carry out and record site inspections (Safety, health, environment & quality), plant, equipment, structures and excavations. Ensure all works are carried out in line with approved method statements, review and amend risk assessments as the task progresses. Deliver toolbox talks in an engaging manner on all SHEQ subjects Promote the principles of the Safer Every Day programme by leading by example. Discuss any changes or amendments to method statements with site team and ensure they are updated to suit. Ensure site personnel have job relevant training requirements and are entered on site personnel training register. Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by leading by example and bringing all works either about to or commenced to a halt and reporting this through to the Site Manager and working with the Site Manager to pro-actively resolve. Supervision of temporary works, ensure temporary works installed as per design. Track, monitor and record daily work productions ensuring relevant information is communicated to the Site Manager. Lead by example and actively supervise all site activities. A little bit about your skills, experience and behaviours.
