We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile HGV / Plant Engineer to join our client's expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to work in a dynamic environment covering the South of England. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills, experience with HGV or plant vehicle maintenance, and the flexibility to travel across various locations including Berkshire and nearby areas.

15. A varied workload covering HGV and plant machinery, with a focus on road sweepers and other fleet vehicles

Duties:
18. Conduct maintenance and repairs on HGVs and plant equipment, including chassis and body side work
19. Service a fleet of approximately 100 HGVs across the South East including the Berkshire area
20. Perform inspections and diagnostics to identify faults and recommend repairs
21. Carry out routine servicing in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
22. Work on a range of vehicles including road sweepers and other specialised plant machinery
23. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
24. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and ensure timely completion of work
25. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs
26. Assist in the training of less experienced engineers where required
Requirements:
27. Proven experience as a Mobile HGV / Plant Engineer or similar role
28. Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
29. Experience working on HGVs and plant equipment, ideally including road sweepers
30. NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent qualification
31. UK driving licence; HGV Class 2 licence is preferred but not essential if experience is demonstrated
32. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
33. Flexibility to work scheduled hours between early mornings and evenings, Monday to Friday, with one day every other weekend
34. Willingness to undertake ongoing training and development
