We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Regulatory Manager to join a growing Chemical company in West Yorkshire
As the Regulatory Manager you will monitor and manage all regulatory compliance aspects of raw materials and products for the company.
Responsibilities include:
* Monitor and manage requirements for raw materials to comply with global chemical registers (e.g. EU/UK REACH), including registration maintenance
* Complete and submit required regulatory documentation regulations and deadlines demand
* Design and implement monitoring policies and procedures to ensure compliance with existing and new regulations.
* Keep abreast of new and changing regulations, develop strategies and action plans with stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance.
* Investigate and address any reported issues of regulatory non-compliance.
* Liaise with customers on a regulatory basis to provide support.
* Maintain critical chemical data systems including labelling, Safety Data Sheets creation (SDSs), dangerous goods notes in support of intermediate products and finished products.
Ideal candidates will have
A degree in Chemistry (or related science subject) and have experience in a regulatory management or supervisory role with the Chemical industry.
You will have experience in REACH and global compliance demands, and ideally with food contact materials.
The Regulatory Manager is a stand-alone role so the successful candidate will need previous experience working with senior managers/ stakeholders and have the ability to manage all the regulatory compliance activities independently.
