About The Role

Due to the continued expansion of the business and increasing demands, we’re looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk who will thrive in a busy operational environment to join our Purchase Ledger team within our Account Department at Birchwood Park, Warrington.
In this fast-paced role as a Purchase Ledger you’ll manage a high volume of invoices daily, processing through Invoice Data Capture and Automatic Purchase Order Matching Systems.
You will also be responsible for;
1. Data Capture Verification
2. Processing Purchase Order matching exceptions
3. Supplier invoice query resolution using in-house intranet based system
4. Dealing with internal customer/supplier phone calls and email queries
5. Monthly supplier statement reconciliations

To succeed as a Purchase Ledger Clerk you will bring the following skill-set and behaviours:
6. Previous experience in a similar role (at least 2 years in a high volume Purchase Ledger department)
7. PC Literate, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
8. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
9. Team player
10. Ability to demonstrate excellent administrative/organisational abilities
11. Able to work on own initiative
12. Confident and possess excellent communication skills
