Location: Redditch Salary: £30,000 - £36,000 Shift: Afternoon
A well-established precision engineering company is looking for a skilled CNC Operator to join their afternoon shift team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a machinist with sliding head experience and a solid understanding of Fanuc controls to work with high-spec machinery in a clean, well-organised environment.

* Tornos
* Citizen
All machines are equipped with milling capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate and maintain sliding head CNC machines using Fanuc controls
* Perform basic setups and adjust offsets and inserts as needed
* Conduct regular quality checks using gauging, micrometres, and verniers
* Load material and monitor production runs
* Maintain setup integrity and ensure consistent part quality
Advantageous Skills
* Ability to change milling cutters, drills, and taps
* Experience using shadowgraph and non-digital bore micrometres
Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Proven experience operating sliding head CNC machines
* Strong familiarity with Fanuc control systems
* Good understanding of quality control procedures
* Ability to work independently and maintain production efficiency
* A proactive approach to machine maintenance and tooling adjustments
