A lively and community-focused secondary school in Weston-super-Mare is seeking a dedicated Music Teacher to inspire students and support the school’s rich performance and music production culture. Starting in September 2025, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a progressive Music department equipped with a modern recording studio and performance spaces.
Key Responsibilities:

Teach a full Music curriculum across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to teach KS5 BTEC or A-Level Music Technology
*
Lead ensembles and school productions; promote live performance and student creativity
*
Deliver lessons in composition, music theory, popular music, and digital production (using DAWs)
*
Organise termly concerts, collaborations with local musicians, and community showcases
*
Encourage inclusive participation through extra-curricular clubs and classroom differentiation
Person Specification:
*
A Music graduate with QTS and multi-instrumental fluency
*
Strong ability to use music technology (Logic, Ableton, or GarageBand preferred)
*
Experience in performance direction, event planning, or studio production
*
Committed to the wider school community and the development of musical talent
