This wonderful opportunity has become available for a kind, caring junior Nanny to work for a professional family near Henley-on-Thames in Oxfordshire. The role will start on the 2nd of May and involves sole care for an 18‑month‑old, ensuring safety, happiness, and developmental progress.
The position is full time, Monday–Friday. Hours: 3 days 8 am‑7 pm, 1 day 9 am‑5 pm, and Friday 9:30 am‑3 pm.
We are seeking a Nanny who is fun, cheerful, and easy‑going, who enjoys planning age‑appropriate activities and outdoor play. The role also involves preparing nutritious meals and handling usual nursery duties. The position requires a driver’s licence, and the gross annual salary is £34,000.
Location and Schedule
Location: Near Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire.
Days: Monday–Friday.
Hours: 3 days 8 am‑7 pm, 1 day 9 am‑5 pm, Friday 9:30 am‑3 pm.
Job start date: 2nd of May.
Financial: £34,000 gross per annum.
Pets in the home: No.
Responsibilities
* Provide full‑time care for an 18‑month‑old child, ensuring safety, happiness, and developmental progress.
* Plan and conduct fun, age‑appropriate indoor and outdoor activities.
* Prepare, cook, and serve nutritious meals.
* Perform nursery duties and maintain a tidy, child‑friendly environment.
* Drive the child to activities, school, or appointments as required.
Requirements
* Minimum 1 + year of experience with children of the same age or in a similar role.
* Childcare qualification; essential.
* Up‑to‑date enhanced DBS certificate.
* 12‑hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
* Minimum 2 professional referees (including current or last employer). Both references must be immediately contactable.
* Appropriate professional nanny insurance recommended.
