About The Role
Penguin Recruitment is proud to be representing a market:leading acoustic engineering firm. They are seeking a Senior CAD Designer to join their talented Design team. This is a hands:on position offering the opportunity to lead design projects, mentor junior team members, and drive product innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct dimensional site surveys in the UK and across Europe.
Produce GA drawings, detailed manufacturing, and installation drawings.
Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
Mentor and support the development of junior design staff.
Lead the development of acoustic products using 2D AutoCAD.
Ensure all designs are compliant with regulations and optimised for manufacturability.
What Were Looking For
Experience in manufacturing sheet metal or structural steel products.
Strong proficiency in 2D AutoCAD (Autodesk Inventor/Revit knowledge advantageous).
Understanding of installation practices.
Excellent communication and multitasking skills.
Willingness to travel within the UK and Europe (full UK driving licence required).
The Benefits
Competitive salary: GBP50,000 : GBP60,000 (depending on experience).
