Join our experienced engineering team in Flintshire as a Multiskilled Maintenance Technician. You'll play a hands-on role maintaining and testing essential site equipment — both electrical and mechanical. You'll also have the opportunity to step up and cover for the Maintenance Manager, gaining experience in leadership, contractor oversight, and project delivery. Key Responsibilities Maintain, test, and troubleshoot a variety of site equipment: Electrical: Control panels, PLCs Mechanical: Filling machines, screw feeders, gearboxes Other systems: Pneumatic control, ATEX (Ex) equipment, building assets Ensure correct installation and testing of Safety Instrumented Systems Support contractor management: inductions, audits, compliance Contribute to projects from concept through commissioning Maintain and update asset integrity procedures Use SAP CMMS to record and close maintenance activities Support Maintenance Leadership Assist the Maintenance Manager by managing the workshop and stores Source and maintain stock levels and parts Prioritise work schedules and job planning Implement and maintain 5S practices in the maintenance workshop Qualifications HNC / NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering Knowledge of 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Confined Space Entry Training (Low Risk minimum) – can be provided by the company. Ability to interpret technical drawings and P&ID diagrams Strong interpersonal and communication skills IT skills: MS Office and ability to learn CMMS Desirable CompEx (Ex05-06) or knowledge of ATEX requirements Experience working with hazardous chemicals CAD proficiency Why Join Us?
