Our chilled production division plays a critical role in maintaining these quality standards, and we are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Chilled Senior Production Manager to join our team on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
In this senior leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of chilled production operations to ensure consistent quality, efficiency, and safety. You will lead and inspire a large production team, drive strategic initiatives, and implement continuous improvement programs to enhance productivity and reduce costs. Working Hours
4 on 4 off shift pattern, working 05:30 to 18:00 and 10:30 to 23:00.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide strong leadership and management of the chilled production teams, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
* Plan, organise, and oversee production schedules to meet customer demand while ensuring optimal resource utilisation.
* Maintain strict adherence to food safety, quality standards, and health and safety regulations.
* Monitor production metrics and KPIs, analysing data to identify trends and drive operational improvements.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including quality assurance, maintenance, and supply chain to enhance production efficiency.
* Lead initiatives focused on reducing waste, increasing productivity, and ensuring sustainable practices.
* Manage budgets, control costs, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Requirements
* Extensive experience in a senior production management role within the food manufacturing industry, specifically in chilled products.
* Deep knowledge of food safety standards, quality assurance, and production processes.
* Proven leadership capabilities with experience managing large teams and driving cultural change.
* Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision making and continuous improvement.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate at all levels.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Willingness to work on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, including extended hours.
