Pharmacy Technician/Student Technician Rotational Post
Full Time, 37 hours per week.
Pharmacy Technician Band 4: £29,116 – £31,670 per annum.
Student Pharmacy Technician – Annex 21*.
Location: ARI Pharmacy, Aberdeen. Rotation across pharmacy sections including aseptic, radiopharmacy, ward medicines management, dispensary services, procurement and supply. Includes weekend rota and public holiday working.
Essential Requirements
* Qualified Pharmacy Technician with BTech/NVQ3 in Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent, and professional registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
* Maths, English, Chemistry and Biology (required for Student Technician).
Desirable
* Willingness to train to accredited checking technician.
Student Technician Requirements
* Minimum of four National 5, O grades at Level 2 or above, or equivalent.
* Under Annex 21, training is paid at 70% of band 4 in year 1 and 75% in year 2, progressing to Band 4 upon completion of all qualifications and competencies.
Training & Pay
* Post is a training post under Annex 21 with pay based on training requirements and duration.
* Once all qualifications and competencies are achieved, you will move to Band 4.
