Maintenance Surveyor / Manager
Midlands Based | National Travel Required
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Surveyor / Manager to join a leading leisure operator with a diverse UK-wide estate, ranging from 5,000 to 50,000 sq. ft. sites. This company is renowned for its commitment to high standards across its properties, ensuring a safe and well-maintained environment for staff and customers. The Maintenance Surveyor / Manager will play a key role in overseeing property maintenance and compliance, making this a great opportunity for an ambitious professional looking to make an impact.
The role involves coordinating and delivering planned and reactive maintenance services across the UK estate, managing contractors, and ensuring site standards are maintained.
Responsibilities:
* Lead the coordination and delivery of maintenance services nationwide.
* Manage contractors to ensure effective service delivery.
* Check completed works for compliance and quality.
* Develop relationships with suppliers to ensure quality standards.
* Manage budgets and report on performance monthly.
Skills and Attributes:
* Degree/HNC or equivalent in Building Surveying/Construction, with professional qualification (RICS/CIOB or similar) preferred.
* Knowledge of building construction, mechanical, and electrical installations.
* Experience in maintenance roles within leisure, hospitality, or retail sectors.
* Strong organizational and communication skills.
* Ability to handle multiple projects under pressure.
