Audit & compliance officer

Burch Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of its client for an Audit & Compliance Officer to support and strengthen compliance across a dynamic logistics operation. This role is critical in ensuring the organisation adheres to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and data protection standards, including GDPR.

Key Responsibilities
1. Compile and prepare data for internal and external audits
2. Monitor compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal policies
3. Review outgoing data to ensure accuracy and GDPR compliance
4. Identify irregularities and flag compliance risks within departments or sites
5. Conduct spot checks and mini audits across operational teams
6. Perform Right to Work checks and verify insurance compliance
7. Maintain accurate, up-to-date compliance records and documentation
