Position: Service Advisor
Contract: Full Time
Hours: 42 hrs per week, Monday-Friday only.
Overview:
Taylor's Service Centres (Great Dunmow) is an established and Approved Service and Repair Centre for both Jaguar Land Rover and Renault, along with Premium German and other multi vehicle brands.
Role, Duties and Responsbilites:
As a Taylors Service Advisor you will act as a customer service professional in our service department, serving as the primary contact between customers and vehicle technicans.
Key responsibilities include regularly communicating with our customers (via the telephone / email) listening to their vehicle concerns, to keep them updated on the progress of their vehicle service and repair, recommending necessary maintenance and services, explaining technical work in simple terms, managing appointments, providing cost estimates, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.
Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills are essential for success in this role.
Skills:
* Communication: Excellent ability to listen actively and explain complex technical information clearly.
* Customer Service: Strong focus on delivering a positive and seamless customer experience.
* Organisation: Good organisational skills to manage schedules, customer records, and service processes.
* Technical Aptitude: A fundamental understanding of vehicle mechanics is helpful to effectively communicate with technicians and advise customers.
* Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve customer issues and manage complaints effectively.
* Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build rapport with customers and work effectively with the service department.
Hours of work:
* Monday to Thu, Friday
* No weekend or Bank holiday working.
