We are recruiting for Support Workers to support individuals in our Dumfries services to live independently in their own homes.
The people we support have faced a lot of challenges in the past because of their learning disabilities and mobility issues, but this hasn't stopped them from enjoying life! The ladies enjoy lots of activities, including going out for lunch, picnics, art groups, swimming, knitting, jigsaws and going to parties. Our support team are very diverse and work well together to ensure the people we support are happy and safe in their own homes. Supporting with medication administration
• Assisting with personal care
• Maintaining the homes of people supported and helping to manage their finances
Our team provides support 24 hours a day, so we are looking for some flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including some weekends and sleepovers. The people we support like to be supported by people who respect them and their homes, but who also like to have fun!
We like people who are reliable and honest, so the people we support can build trust and know that you have their best interests at heart.
