About the role
Lead our end‑to‑end quality strategy across product development, manufacturing, supply chain and regulatory compliance. You will ensure that our skincare products meet the highest global standards of safety, efficacy and consistency while supporting the brand’s innovation and growth goals. You will establish a global quality culture and governance framework that balances regulatory carefulness with consumer‑centric excellence.
Key responsibilities
* Lead the No7 Beauty Company global quality team to ensure all KPIs, regulatory and WBA quality requirements are complied with.
* Define and implement the global quality vision, strategy and policies aligned with our goals.
* Champion a culture of quality across R&D, manufacturing, supply chain and commercial teams; be a global authority on quality matters with regulators, partners and industry bodies.
* Lead the development, deployment and maintenance of the QMS ensuring compliance with all global No7 Beauty Company requirements and the regulatory requirements for all product classifications.
* Promote operational excellence by leading QA and QC functions across all sites, internal and third‑party; define testing standards, release procedures and documentation to guarantee product integrity; improve programmes in manufacturing, packaging and distribution.
* Work with colleagues across the business to ensure that all global policies, standards and position statements are appropriate for No7 Beauty Company.
* Ensure triage, investigation and management of consumer complaints and feedback; ensure any required improvement activity is managed and communicated.
* Lead the management of serious incident investigations ensuring appropriate business escalation and stakeholder management.
* Escalate critical incidents to the appropriate business unit Technical Directors for management escalation and communication to Senior Leaders.
* Manage the global product recall process ensuring all business and regulatory requirements are met in every market.
* Ensure that product quality is maintained in all markets throughout the product life‑cycle.
* Provide leadership to the shared‑service global quality team; ensure ongoing delivery and effective performance management and development.
* Ensure market insights and latest industry thinking is adopted to drive a culture of continuous improvement across the team (people, process, systems).
* Deliver a management review process and risk‑based internal audit programme to maintain compliance of No7 BC products with all relevant regulatory requirements.
* Build, inspire and develop a global quality team.
What you’ll need to have
* Experienced quality leader with in‑depth knowledge of quality systems and operational quality knowledge.
* Leader with experience developing and leading teams of subject‑matter experts.
* Excellent and impactful influencer with proven senior stakeholder management experience.
* Well‑developed ability to remain calm and lead through serious incident investigations.
* Well‑developed and recognised facilitation and communication skills for all levels within and outside the organization.
* Knowledge of the regulatory landscapes for GB products (MHRA, FSA, BSI, HPRA).
* Experience with quality systems improvement.
* High‑level understanding of quality reporting mechanisms.
It would be great if you also have
* Knowledge of the Beauty Markets (main brand product types and claims).
* Knowledge of the regulatory landscape for beauty devices and medicinal products.
* Awareness of good practice in statistical analysis.
