An exciting opportunity has arisen for Nuclear Systems Performance Engineers to join Rolls-Royce Team in Derby.
Rolls-Royce Submarines are the UK thought leader for nuclear thermal hydraulics; we employ cutting edge analytical methods today, are championing the development of next generation methods for the future with academia, and have unique experimental testing capabilities.
The core thermal hydraulics team works to assess the performance and safety of the reactor core, by ensuring adequate heat transfer throughout its operational life; here analysis is undertaken to develop and optimise core designs, substantiate their thermal performance, and to support manufacturing campaigns.
