Position Summary The Fry Room Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all operations within the fry room, including frying, oven-based and related processes. The role ensures safe, efficient, and consistent production while leading staff, maintaining equipment performance, and ensuring compliance with food safety, quality, and health & safety standards. Key Responsibilities Production & Operations Oversee daily fry room operations to meet production schedules and targets. Monitor cooking processes (fryers, ovens, and associated equipment), including ingredients, temperatures, timings, and product flow. Ensure products meet quality specifications Manage the maintenance of accurate production and process records. Liaise with Engineering to minimise downtime and support planned maintenance. Team Leadership Supervise the fry room operators. Deliver hands-on training in safe equipment use, hygiene, and quality standards. Ensure adequate staffing to meet operational requirements. Food Safety, Quality & Safety Enforce HACCP, GMP, and company food safety standards. Work closely with Quality to investigate and resolve deviations. Ensure correct handling of materials and effective sanitation practices. Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring PPE compliance and reporting of incidents or near misses. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality. Support process improvement and cross-functional initiatives.
