We are looking for a full time Conveyancing Assistant to join our Ipswich office. This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly, professional team in a growing local business. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, enjoys meeting people and has excellent organisation and administration skills.
Responsibilities: You will be responsible for administrative duties, client care letters and the legal process as directed by the fee earner.
Managing email traffic and daily phone calls to clients, estate agents and other third parties.
Carry out ID and compliance checks.
Draft standard documentation and correspondence.
Carry out Land Registry searches.
Create and send mortgage reports/ contract reports.
Requesting searches and management packs.
Checking external portals for updates/ actions.
Providing support in exchanging contracts and setting up of completions of the transaction.
The Candidate: The ideal candidate will possess at least 3 year's recent conveyancing experience.
Possess excellent IT and communications skills.
Strong administration skills, well organised and able to multi-task.
Team player with the ability to organise own workload and adapt/prioritise as necessary.
