Due to internal promotion, we’re seeking a Procurement Officer at Futures Housing Group. This role requires a procurement professional with experience in end-to-end tender and quote processes, and knowledge of the UK legislative framework to ensure ethical practices and social value delivery.
You will be responsible for procurement tasks in compliance with corporate policies, strategies, and legislation, including:
* RFQs in accordance with Group Policy and best practices
* Managing compliant above and below threshold tenders
* Liaising with internal stakeholders collaboratively

Applicants with a public sector procurement background are preferred, but candidates with transferable skills from corporate procurement, sales, or contract management are encouraged to apply, provided they are willing to undertake relevant training. Key responsibilities include:
* Managing cradle-to-grave procurement processes, including supplier engagement and tenders via the ProContract portal, considering TUPE and Section 20 Consultation.
* Acting as escalation point for Contract Managers, facilitating negotiations, value engineering, and KPI reporting.
* Managing supplier relationships, risk, due diligence, and assurance checks from onboarding to termination.
* Maintaining procurement records, ensuring they are auditable, and keeping the Contracts Register updated.
* Conducting monthly and annual spend analysis and reporting.
* Providing cover for the Procurement and Contract Manager when needed.
