Lead Infrastructure Architect London, UK Full-time, Permanen t Travel: Occasional UK-wide travel required We are seeking an experienced and strategic Lead Infrastructure Architect to join our team in London. In this key leadership role, you will define and drive enterprise architecture across large-scale technology programmes, working closely with stakeholders to align IT strategy with business goals. You will be instrumental in shaping end-to-end solutions, providing architectural governance, and ensuring delivery of scalable, future-ready platforms for our clients. The Role: Lead the development and implementation of enterprise architecture frameworks and strategies. Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to align architecture with business objectives. Drive solution architecture across digital transformation and enterprise-level IT programmes. Provide architectural oversight and governance throughout the solution lifecycle. Translate complex business requirements into scalable, sustainable architectural designs. Work closely with delivery, product, and infrastructure teams to ensure architectural integrity. Evaluate and recommend tools, platforms, and technologies to improve architecture practice. Support pre-sales and proposal efforts with architectural insights and technical leadership. Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders on strategic technology direction. Represent the company in key customer meetings and engagements. What you will bring: Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT architecture roles, with at least 6 years in a lead or enterprise architecture capacity. Proven experience leading architecture for large-scale programmes across multiple domains. Strong background in enterprise-level solution design, integration, and technology governance. Expertise in modern enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman). Broad understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, APIs, and data architectures. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including at C-level. Ability to work across diverse teams and effectively influence decision-making. Experience in both Agile and Waterfall delivery models. Previous client-facing consulting experience preferred. Desirable: TOGAF certification or equivalent. Background across multiple sectors such as BFSI, Retail, Healthcare Understanding of security, compliance, and regulatory considerations in enterprise environments.
