Nelson Permanent Placements are currently recruiting for an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee a portfolio of student accommodation properties across the Midlands and South of the UK. This is a mobile role responsible for coordinating hard Facilities Management services, ensuring planned maintenance, reactive works and compliance activities are delivered to a high standard across multiple sites. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing contractors, supporting site teams and maintaining strong client relationships while ensuring operational performance and service delivery remain consistent across the portfolio. The key responsibilities of this role as a Contracts Manager: • Oversee hard Facilities Management services across multiple student accommodation sites. • Manage planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes and reactive maintenance. • Ensure statutory compliance and adherence to health & safety requirements. • Coordinate and manage specialist contractors including HVAC, lifts, fire systems, gas and water services. • Act as the main point of contact for clients, maintaining strong professional relationships. • Work closely with the helpdesk and administrative teams to schedule and track maintenance tasks. • Carry out regular site visits to monitor service delivery and contractor performance. • Support the mobilisation of new sites and contracts. • Provide...
