Description
* Manage and maintain docketing system to ensure accurate and timely case filings.
* Monitor and track legal deadlines to ensure compliance with court requirements.
* Provide first-level support for CA state and federal ECF, other pleadings and court papers filings, and case record file access and administration.
* Coordinate with attorneys and legal staff to update and review case records.
* Prepare and process legal documents, including filings and correspondence.
* Conduct thorough research on legal matters as needed.
* Assist in the development and implementation of docketing procedures and policies.
* Provide administrative support to the legal team as required.
* Maintain confidentiality and ensure sensitive information is handled securely.
Profile
A successful Docket Clerk should have:
* Bachelor's Degree from accredited University or college
* 2+ years of docketing or similar litigation calendar database experience
* Hands on experiene with Court Alert
* Understanding of CA and Federal Court Rules
* Strong organizational and time-management skills.
* Proficiency in docketing software and legal management systems.
* Knowledge of legal terminology and court procedures.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in managing legal documents and deadlines.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys and legal staff.
* Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
