Our client is seeking a dedicated Residential Children's Home Manager to oversee operations at a local authority children's home. Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the management of a local authority children's home, ensuring a safe, well-run environment.
* Act as the Registered Manager, accountable to Ofsted and responsible for compliance with quality standards and regulations.
* Directly manage the Operational Manager and provide oversight for day-to-day operations.
* Ensure sufficient resources are in place to support young people's personal goals and well-being.
* Develop and implement effective policies and procedures for the home.
* Lead improvement initiatives and contribute to strategic planning for local authority children's services.
* Conduct assessments and care planning to meet the needs of children in care.
* Oversee crisis intervention and provide support to staff as needed.
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience in managing a residential children's home or similar environment.
* Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to mentor and develop staff.
* Knowledge of legislation and regulations pertaining to children's services.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
* Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external partners.

Special Conditions:
