The Role
Due to ongoing growth, the business is looking for a CNC Machinist to join their busy team in Cheddar. This is a long-term position offering excellent career progression. You will work on both manual and CNC machines, producing high-quality components from drawings or samples.
Key Responsibilities
* Set up and operate manual and CNC milling and turning machines
* Machine parts from drawings or samples
* Select tooling, speeds, and feeds
* Carry out one-off and batch work
* Inspect components using precision measuring tools
* Repair shafts and journals
* Maintain machines and safe working practices
About You
* Proven machining experience (milling & turning essential)
* Ability to read engineering drawings
* Knowledge of machining tolerances, speeds, and feeds
* Experience with ferrous and non-ferrous materials
* On-call/rota availability
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

* Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 (40-hour paid week)
