National Museums NI is a leading cultural institution responsible for developing, caring for, and making accessible its significant collection. Each year, nearly one million people enjoy our four museums. Through loans, research, community activity, and digital programmes, we engage a broader audience beyond those who visit our museums physically.
The Ulster American Folk Park in Castletown, Omagh, Co Tyrone, is an outdoor museum illustrating the story of emigrants from Ulster to the New World during the 18th and 19th centuries. It features outdoor exhibits, including original buildings like the ancestral homes of Thomas Mellon, John Joseph Hughes, Hugh and Robert Campbell, depicting emigrants' lives on both sides of the Atlantic.
We seek a Visitor Guide to provide visitors with an enjoyable and informative living history experience. The role involves delivering a positive, engaging, customer-focused experience and interacting with visitors, including individuals, families, tour groups, and school groups.
