To lead the CRM and Cath lab physiology team, contributing positively to the leadership of the whole Cardiac Physiology team, working within a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe delivery of CRM and Cardiac Cath Lab services including implants and follow‑up. The department is undergoing rapid growth and transformation in the next few years and is ready to further develop.
Responsibilities
* Lead the CRM and Cath lab physiology team and contribute to the overall leadership of the Cardiac Physiology department.
* Ensure safe delivery of cardiology investigations performed throughout the trust.
* Manage RTT and diagnostic wait targets.
* Lead the service through BSE accreditation.
* Lead a high‑performing team of physiologists and support the growth of the cardiac physiology service.
* Participate in the development of new Cardiac Cath Lab facilities for the population of North and West Hampshire.
* Support the construction of two new Cath labs and the development of an EP service.
Qualifications
* Recent experience in management of RTT and diagnostic wait targets.
* Experience leading cardiac physiology services, including Cath lab and CRM.
* Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and contribute to team leadership.
* Commitment to patient safety and high quality care.
