Salary: £42,879 - £46,410 p.a.
Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose: To participate in the policy processes of the Council with a particular focus on developing the policies and performance outcomes of the Highland Housing Register and related housing and homelessness policies.

Requirements
1. Practical and relevant experience of Housing service delivery and/or housing policy development.
2. Detailed knowledge of housing and homelessness legislation.
3. Detailed knowledge of current housing issues.
4. Good level of general education, preferably Degree in relevant subject area and/or Professional/Technical Qualification (Chartered Institute of Housing/HNC) or equivalent.
5. A driving licence is highly desirable, but consideration would be given to the post holder making alternative arrangements as long as these meet the operational requirements of the Service.
