The role is responsiblefordefining,implementing,andmaintainingrobustconfigurationanddatamanagement processes to ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, technical, and company requirements throughout the product lifecycle. The post holder will work closely with programme, engineering, bid, supplier, and customer stakeholderstomaintainconfigurationcontrol,assuredataintegrity,andsupportaudits,reviews,and governance activities across multiple defence programmes. Key Responsibilities: Configuration&Programme Support Plan,implement,andmaintainConfigurationandDataManagement(CM/DM)processesacross assigned programmes. Supportthedeploymentandstandardisationofconfigurationmanagementprocessesand toolsets, including access control and security requirements. Interfacewithbidandprogrammeteamstoembedconfigurationmanagementrequirementsat contract initiation and throughout programme delivery. ProvideCMsupportatdesignreviews,programmereviews,andconfigurationcontrolboards, ensuring consistent governance and timely closure of actions. Liaisewithcustomersandsupplierstoagreeandmanagejointconfigurationanddataworking arrangements. ContributetosupplierStatementsofWorkandsupportprogrammeforecastingandbudget planning for CM/DM activities. Identifyprogrammerisks,issues,andopportunities,supportingthedevelopmentand implementation of mitigation plans. DataManagement& Compliance: Track,manage,andreportcustomerandsupplierdatadeliverables,includingSupplierData Requirements Lists (SDRLs), ensuring timely submission and disposition. Monitordatatransmissionstoensurecompliancewithcontractualobligations,regulatory requirements, and company standards. ReviewandapprovetechnicaldatawithiniPDM,ensuringcorrectsecurity,exportcontrol, intellectual property, and trade compliance markings. EnsureadherencetoExportCompliance,ManufacturingLicenceAgreements(MLAs), information protection, and intellectual property regulations. Maintainandupdatesharedtechnicalinformationenvironmentsandsupportsecuredata access across multiple sites, including offline contingency solutions. Supportinternalaudits,reviews,andassuranceactivitiestodemonstrateregulatoryand contractual compliance. Skills,Knowledge& Experience: Strongknowledgeofconfigurationmanagementregulations,internationalstandards,andbest practice. SolidunderstandingofCM,datamanagement,andprogrammemanagement principles. Awarenessofcommercialandfinancialconsiderationswithinprogramme delivery. Generalknowledgeofengineeringdesign,testing,andmanufacturing processes. Abilitytointerpretengineeringdrawingsandmanufacturingplanning information. Experienceworkingwithcross-functionalteamsincludingengineering,operations, procurement, and customer support.
