The Bedford College Group is seeking a Training Coordinator – Electrical for its Apprenticeships department at Tresham College – Corby Campus.
Location: Tresham College – Corby Campus
Salary/Benefits: £29,870 – £39,696 (Pro Rata), 27 days annual leave, pension, discounts, college courses.
Hours: 22.2 hrs per week – 3 days – flexible.
Contract: Permanent – Part Time
About The Role
As a Training Coordinator you coordinate training for work‑based provision, deliver and assess knowledge, and maintain relationships with employers and tutors. Key duties include inducting learners, delivering sector‑based training, conducting workplace assessments, providing feedback, and maintaining accurate records. You will also support quality assurance, team development, inspections, funding understanding, and disciplinary procedures.
Responsibilities
 * Coordinate training for work‑based provision and deliver competent training.
 * Induct, assess, and support learners; deliver sector‑based training and workplace assessments.
 * Provide feedback, set SMART targets, maintain records, liaise with employers and support teams.
 * Participate in quality assurance, team development, and inspections.
 * Understand funding, complete learning plans, follow disciplinary procedures and maintain confidentiality.
About You
Qualifications
 * Level 3 or above in sector specialism, TAQA L3/L4 certificates, GCSE English and Maths, L3 Award in Education and Training.
Experience
 * Relevant sector experience, assessing NVQ Level 3 work, high performance, diversity experience, equality and diversity promotion.
Skills
 * Confident use of IT, effective training delivery, robust feedback, learner support, prioritise workload, work under pressure, relationship building, high‑quality learner experience.
Personal qualities
 * Commitment to equality and diversity, safeguarding responsibilities, relationship building, continuous skill updates, flexible approach, willingness to travel, health and safety awareness.

 * Current driving licence and access to a car.
