We are looking for reliable individuals to work as Cover Supervisors in secondary schools across Rhondda Cynon Taf. This role is ideal for anyone wanting to explore a career in education, build classroom experience, or take on flexible work that fits around other commitments.

About the Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will take charge of the classroom in the teacher’s absence, delivering lessons that are already prepared. Your main focus will be to keep students engaged, on task, and working in a positive environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering pre-set lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students
Maintaining classroom discipline in line with school expectations
Creating a focused and productive learning atmosphere
Completing attendance registers and following safeguarding procedures
Supporting students in completing assigned work
Providing feedback to teaching staff after each session

Compliance Requirements
To work in this role, you will need:
An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
Two professional references covering the past two years
If you don’t already have these in place, support will be provided to help you obtain them.
